This is my happy place; it's like Disney land for grown ups. They make me feel like all of my hopes and dreams can become reality, while staying within my budget. Also, the food court is amazing. I always include stopping for a meal, or some cappuccino as part of my IKEA trip. Pro tip: I believe the overall experience is enhanced if you create an ABBA playlist to listen to on your way there.
I really do love this place! I chose to go this year on the busiest day ( first weekend in September). The staff is helpful & kind. The choices of merchandise is great! I wish that you didnt have to do the maze to get from beginning to end...I would guess that this is truly the only way to see it all! Plan on spending a few hours. Opt to have complicated furniture put together & delivered if you have no patience! Great for college, quest & kids rooms. Staging a home or kitchen gadgets as well as bedding for kids rooms as well as master bedrooms! If youre looking for strong , long lasting furniture you may need to continue your search... depending on the item. Always leave with a cart full!!!! If needed or not! Everyone should experience IKEA at least once in a lifetime! You wont be disappointed!
Have gone on a rainy Saturday morning/afternoon and a Tuesday evening. I definitely recommend the latter, unless you're planning on a particularly quick trip which then a weekend morning will probably be fine. Apparently rainy days make Ikea that much more popular (According to the nice cashier lady I chatted with on my way out). Weekend evening was overall pretty calm and not crazy full of people. I definitely felt more comfortable taking my time browsing and what not. Overall a well kept store with good items. Lots of parking and an area near an entry for people to bring their cars/whatever to load up when they leave.Also, their food is very very reasonably priced, of pretty decent quality, with reasonable portions. On the weekend evening visit my boyfriend and I came, had dinner and then continued on to the bottom floor of the store (skipping the showroom this time. The showrooms are cool, though it's really only useful if you're looking for additional setup/layout ideas or product recommendations).
Ikea is great and this location serves new the New England area. It is so easy to manage Ian the staff is very professional and able to help at all times, so do not let the size of the facility eliminate you from getting some great and stylish furniture. I've always found what I needed here and able to find some new things I didn't quite think I wanted until second look. There is so much to look at and so much to think about and decorating you're home. I was able to link up the website succinctly with the Stoughton store has there is the option to see if the furniture you like online is available, and where to find it in the warehouse. This synced up option is perfect or someone who has limited time. With busy schedules it's not always easy to wander around, as I wish I'm able to do, insano that the store is well lit clean and properly managed makes the experience great. Plus the cafeteria is awesome.
THE MOST HORRIBLE DELIVERY SERVICE!! Day 1: Wasted the whole day waiting for delivery! It was rescheduled twice but didn't come. Waited for an hour to get to talk to a representative who couldn't give me a decent answer where my delivery was. Have been told that they couldn't reach the driver (!!!) but they left him a message and he would call me back.. No one called me back. Day 2: Waited another hour on the phone to find out that the delivery service would contact me to schedule another delivery. No one called me. Had to call them again. Have been promised delivery tomorrow..Day 3: No one called to schedule a delivery. Called them only to be told that they've lost my stuff and that they would call me back when they found it.. Day 4: They called and said that they've found everything and scheduled delivery in 3 days on Monday.. okay.. Day 5: a day off from hunting down the stuff I bought Day 6: Received an automatic call from IKEA that my delivery was outside, they would wait for 10 minutes and then the extra charge started. I was an hour away from home. Called them back.. They had a system glitch.. Day 7: Sunday.. Day 8: Thank you SO much for doing your job! I would never like to use this service again.
